Living in an old house often means loving the charm but wishing for a bigger bathroom. Instead of costly additions, consider reallocating space. We took extra square footage from a large primary bedroom and added it to the en suite bathroom, fulfilling the homeowners’ wish for a double vanity, shower, and soaking tub. To keep the bedroom feeling spacious, we added a cathedral ceiling and painted the room white. We replaced bulky dressers with custom built-ins and added a mirror niche to enhance the entryway. The new bathroom features a custom floating vanity, navy herringbone tiles, gold fixtures, and a sleek soaking tub. The shower has stylish herringbone walls and a triangular-tiled floor for better drainage.
